Advancing Brain Health and Brain Capital

The CoachP4Life Foundation 4 Brain Health goal is to inspire brain health. This championship mission involves fundraising, awarding grants to grassroots organizations, and investing in communities and people committed to being proactive in brain health and brain capital.

Through the foundation's work, Coach P shares her experience and philosophy for achieving brain balance through an athletic and academic approach. Her approach includes all elements of exercise, with an emphasis on mind/body balance and the craft of writing.

“Brain health” is like heart, lung, or any other kind of health. Taking care of our brain health is absolutely critical. Urgent and all care must not be interrupted by fear or any stigmas.

Understanding “brain chemistry” and caring for our brain health ultimately leads to “brain capital.” The ability to live and participate in a full and healthy life is at the center of the Foundation.

The Foundation

We lead with our brains, so we must engage in brain health education and support to lead the fullest life possible.

The CoachP4Life Foundation 4 Brain Health entertains grants for organizations supporting and promoting brain health. The Foundation's activity involves researching potential organizations that align with the foundation’s mission and are consistent with our objectives.

The Foundation's board members will conduct all research identifying potential investments in brain health support, education, and community assistance.

Grants will be awarded in the states Coach P coached in (Maine, Michigan, North Carolina) and nationwide.

Our Championship Process

Joanne “Coach P” McCallie, a former NCAA Division I women’s basketball head coach, is one of the country's most highly decorated basketball coaches. For 28 years, she led the University of Maine, Michigan State University, and Duke University teams, making National Coach of the Year and winning numerous championships at all three schools. She is the only coach in history to win Coach of the Year in four conferences, five times throughout her career.

She is the only Division I head coach to lead two programs to 30-win seasons with three National Championship game appearances.

As a final “4” coach, Coach P is on a mission to share her experience with the “4 B’s”—brain health, brain education, brain chemistry, and brain capital. Coach P's journey shared intimately and knowledgeably, aims to inspire and foster growth within the “4 B’s.”

Coach P is committed to pursuing brain health for all and lives by “4” key mantras in the championship pursuit of living a full and healthy life. The 4 mantras: Stories over stigmas, mentorship matters, be good to you, and process to peace of mind. Coach P shares:

“These “Final 4" key brain elements are part of championship living. I hope you will join our team in pursuit of the highest level of performance and thinking. There are no limits to what we can do. Impacting lives is the highest form of winning on and off the court and in life.”
